The Generation X Show is an innovative and engaging music-centric project. The primary focus is to showcase DJ talent and curate exceptional music experiences, particularly catering to the nostalgic era of Generation X. As a live streaming show, they host streams on the popular platform Twitch, where they connect with an audience of music enthusiasts.

The Generation X Show voice is nostalgic, energetic, and passionate.

The challenge was to build a strong brand identity to attract and retain a loyal audience. Additionally, the client sought to explore innovative ways to connect with their target demographic and stand out in the competitive music and streaming market.

MY ROLE
As a creative consultant for The Generation X Show, I was hired to provide expertise in the creative direction of the show while leveraging my UX skills to ensure a smooth and engaging user experience for their audience. Working closely with the founder, Gerardo Dominguez, my role involved strategizing, planning, and directing the show's content to resonate with the target audience effectively.
Constraints: 
· The team needed to work within allocated budget constraints to optimize resources and ensure a cost-effective approach.

· Seamless execution and delivery of the show's content on streaming platforms necessitated navigating technological requirements and constraints.
· Continuous improvement of content based on audience feedback and metrics imposed a constraint on the production process, demanding adaptability and flexibility.
THE SOLUTION
The solution we designed was to treat 'The Generation X Show' as a product, incorporating UX principles to enhance the overall experience. By conducting clarity sprints and collaborative strategy sessions, we established clear principles and values that guided the show's direction. I integrated my design thinking skills to plan for strategy, iterate content based on audience feedback, and effectively communicate with the viewers.

POSITIVE METRICS
The Generation X Show has expanded its presence beyond Twitch, now reaching audiences on various streaming platforms like KICK and TikTok. With over 800 dedicated Twitch followers, the show has built a growing and enthusiastic fan base. Through captivating DJ performances, innovative visuals, and interactive elements, it offers a unique experience. Recently, the show has been invited to international raid trains on Twitch, collaborating with talents from Canada, Germany, London, The Netherlands, and France. Embracing new opportunities and fostering an engaged community around the world.
